Job description:

A leading contemporary gallery in London is looking for a Digital Co-ordinator to join their team.

Key Responsibilities include:

Social Media

  • Overseeing the social media content calendar
  • Gathering, scheduling and posting social media content to promote gallery artists and exhibitions
  • Working with in-house designers/producer to produce digital content that is engaging, on­ brand and tailored to specific social channels
  • Using analytics tools on a regular basis to track effectiveness of posts and inform the future strategy
  • Hosting social media influencers at lnstameet’s and gallery events
  • Supplying the team in Hong Kong with relevant information and materials for We Chat posts
  • Regular contact with artist studios, Artist Liaisons, gallery staff and external galleries and museums to gather content

E-communications

  • Overseeing the Mailchimp e-news schedule
  • Drafting copy and designing all e-communications from the gallery to a high standard, including press releases, e-invites, newsletters and announcements
  • Organising translations of content into simplified Chinese for HK mailings

Website

  • Responsible for researching and drafting news stories and uploading news stories to the website
  • Occasional copy edits or updates to exhibition pages on the main website

General

  • An advocate for digital media in the gallery, regularly researching new apps, software updates, digital initiatives and platforms
  • Occasional support with morning press alerts and compiling press cuttings reports and press packs
  • Reporting on social media and e-news in fortnightly 1-2-1 catch-ups with Head of Communications
  • Drafting monthly Social Media reports sent to gallery staff
  • Attending webinars and external meetings as required

Events

  • Attendance of gallery exhibition openings
