Job description:

 

We are searching for an accomplished sales person to identify, develop and secure new advertisers across our clients portfolio of publishing titles, digital platforms from the gallery and museum sector.

Profile:

Our client is one of the worlds leading media and events companies in the fine art industry. They are  seeking a senior media sales representative to work across print, digital and creative solutions focusing on art clients. The ideal candidate would have a strong interest and knowledge of contemporary art and proven sales experience in a related environment is essential. The candidate will need to be highly motivated with exceptional communication skills and used to working independently on a diverse range of tasks. International travel will be required.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead advertising sales in the Americas across multiple titles ( print and digital)
  • Manage existing and develop new contract advertisers
  • Represent the company at art events building new relationships
  • Organizing and hosting client and public-facing events in New York and elsewhere
  • Contribute to social media channels and advise on marketing and distribution requirements in the region
  • Maintain and update the customer database as required
  • Attend and prepare for regular advertising and editorial team meetings
  • Work with Publisher, Commercial Director and Editorial team on strategy in the Americas
  • Carry out any other assignments as require

 

Required Experience

  • Proved experience / track record of success in sales within the art sector with a strong network
  • Creative thinker, able to evolve concepts and propositions
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • An interest and knowledge of art and culture
