Authentication Operations Lead, Auction/E-Commerce Platform

Our client, a market leading online auction platform, is hiring an Operations Lead for the authentication team for its facility in the Greater Berlin region. The right candidate will have experience of running warehouse operations and a keen interest in authenticity of high end items. We are looking for a manager who can grow the team and the workflows, has an agile approach and is open to work with multiple categories as well as a good collaborator to our partners and our cross-functional teams in our world class operation.

You will:

• Manage the day-to-day warehouse operations
• Oversee and grow the authentication & warehouse teams
• Continuously improve the process flow
• Work closely with our external partners
• Collaborate on a daily basis with company’s cross-functional teams
• Oversee security, health & safety, and other standards are kept in warehouse and tested regularly

You Have:

• 5+ years of prior warehouse management experience
• Experience as a people and process manager
• Analytical and problem-solving skills ability to research and address concerns
• Flexibility to evolving work-flows and responsibilities
• Strong operational track record
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to work autonomously
• Capacity to work on your feet for several hours & lift 15kg as needed.
• Knowledge of standard operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, Slack, etc.
• Experience of handling several markets in Europe is a plus, but not a must
• Prior authentication experience is preferable
• Fluency in both German (or C1 level) and English preferred
