Our client, a leading cultural business, is seeking a Brand Content Community Manager. Our client is is a content platform and advisory service that connects the culturally curious. Breaking open the art world and offering access to expert and new perspectives, our client is on a mission to enable individuals, brands, and businesses to understand the impact of arts, culture and design on our daily lives and commerce to make them more art engaged and responsible.
Role Requirements:
- Passion for culture and creating inspiring content and stories across digital, social, and live channels
- An understanding of how to use multi-channel platforms to create “loud” effect
- A deep understanding of the art world and connections pertaining to art meets life e.g. luxury brands
Strategy, planning and Analytics
- Owner of the strategic, planning and practical content output of the company (across website, social and live community events)
- Leading and coordinating all company owned content segments against weekly deadlines which includes own implementation of content and running editorial weekly meetings. Proactively updating and including founder where needed
- Owner of traffic, follower, engagement targets and newsletter subscribers across all digital and social channels
- Producing monthly content and platform analytics and performance insights.
- Planning and leading weekly editorial meetings and associated calendars
Company owned content production
- Content and editorial planning and programming weekly / quarterly / annually
- Content production, (pre / post / distribution) for the company social channels
- Coordinating and managing events pertaining to ‘content’ from the company (e.g. talks, reading nights, suppers)
- Content writing, including social media posts and newsletters
- Support with writing presentations to be delivered on behalf of the company or its Founder at speaking engagements
- Programming weekly newsletter(s)
- Managing company / Founder, partner and editorial enquiries
- Curatorial programming with Founder when need arises around cultural conversations (at time linked to the consultancy business)
Third party content production / Partnerships
- Contribution to sponsorship and partnership documents
- Partnership negotiation, communication, and management (in tandem with the Founder)
- Project management of any sponsored or partnered content activity with the company and / or Founder channels
- Communication with the internal team and client (with the support of the project lead) pertaining the above
Community Management
- Responsible for community management, engagement and moderation
- Leading any required community research, listening and optimisation
Management and Leadership
- Mentorship of junior members of the team supporting development of content planning, analytics, and execution
- Content briefing and managing 3rd party writers / editors / suppliers when required
- Script development and editing for owned and partner films
- Attention to detail for on quality and execution
- Managing budgets relating to content and related activities
Ideal experience:
- Considerable years’ experience / involvement in content production and editorial
- Art eco system knowledge and expertise
- Excellent copy writing and editorial capability
- Experience in producing editorial and social content (editorial / film / stills)
- Managed the planning, publishing and reporting of owned social media channels for recognised brands or platforms
- Experienced the use of planning and analytical digital and social tools
- Significant experience selecting and collaborating with content creators
- Confident in managing talent & VIP (including contracts and rights-usage)
- Hands on experience in community management, curation and moderating
- Understanding of events production, creation would be helpful
- Art world knowledge of artists, creative players or future trend players in London. Collector high net worth knowledge ideal but not essential
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- People management, creating an enjoyable and productive team environment
- Strong communications and relationship management style
- Luxury industry understanding and knowledge / network
- Clear understanding of the seasonal moments in the event calendar e.g. fashion week, Frieze, film season
- Experience working with strategic partners e.g. Frieze
- Adobe, Apple, Canva, Microsoft PPT & Excel (confident)
- Confident in the use of Word Press
