Job description:
We are looking for a Business Development Representative for a freight forwarding start up evolving at the intersection of tech, logistics and the art world. The start up specialises in the global shipping of high-end goods: paintings, sculptures, and any valuable or bulky merchandise.
We are looking for a someone high energy, results-driven and  team-oriented to join a rapidly growing Sales team in the US. This role will suit someone who is interested in learning sales skills and is passionate about finding new growth opportunities.
The Role:
  • Researching relevant sales targets and gather key lead information
  • Making outbound prospecting campaigns (via multi-touch points: emails, calls, events, fairs) to identify relevant leads
  • Raising curiosity and interest in the company by organising demos and meetings
  • Following an opportunity until a first order is validated
  • Making sure all new clients are perfectly on-boarded
  • Documenting and analysing daily activities to drive sales knowledge and processes
Candidate Profile:
  • You have a first experience in Business Development or Sales within a start up
  • Fluent in English, any other language is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Result and target-driven
  • Enthusiastic, ambitious, self-motivated and hands-on with a strong work ethic
  • Strong organisational skills and you are disciplined in daily activity planning (ability to manage tightly, over time, a large quantity of information)
  • Good analytical skills
  • Enjoy working in a challenging fast-paced, target-driven and team-oriented environment
  • You are an excellent learner and desire to adapt to new concepts and technologies
  • Having worked with CRM systems (especially Salesforce) is a plus
