Job description:

An art tech start up based in London is looking for a Culture, Operations and HR Manager to join their expanding team.

Working in line with the Leadership team, the Operations Manager will be the first line of support and operational management for staff. The support will span project management, office and facilities, client support, team support, events, invoicing, procurement, recruitment and on boarding amongst other areas in the life cycle of a growing energetic business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Effective design and delivery of all operational responsibilities and activities
  • Define, document and continually develop all governance and the prioritisation of operational activities within the company
  • Manage all HR and recruitment needs company wide
  • Create initiatives and strategies around company culture and execute strategies as our business scales
  • Create, maintain and analyse the company on boarding process and design
  • Train and on board new starters onto necessary platforms and support recruitment throughout the process, from first contact to reference requesting
  • Design and deliver a benefits package for new and current employees
  • Source and manage facilities and logistics including but not limited to event planning, travel booking, and expense management
  • Create and develop company GDPR processes and procedures
  • Procurement and implementation of necessary Company insurances for data breach insurance, cyber attack, personal liability etc.
  • Develop and implement facilities management policies
  • Lead on the procurement and management of tools, software, equipment and facilities
  • Streamline internal ways of working, to facilitate communication and efficiency
  • Analyse both data and our in-situ running of the team and look for ways to drive efficiencies and better our performance
  • Support on internal communications including team and company wide updates
  • Support and liaise closely with CEO to ensure smooth operational running
  • Management of periodic performance reviews and support of performance monitoring and implementation of personal development plans

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience of operational delivery, human resources management and administrative management
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a flexible approach and comfortable in a varied work environment
  • Proven track record in delivering efficient fit for purpose systems and processes
  • Some experience of facilities management
  • Hands on approach in managing projects in line with company strategic plans
  • Efficient time management and experience with prioritisation of critical activities
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Slack, PM Tools and related
  • HR process knowledge and resourcing experience, including hiring and training processes
  • Collaborative and highly skilled at working with diverse teams, clients and stakeholders
  • Experience in the strategy and execution of company culture
