An art gallery and advisory in Geneva is looking for an experienced sales person, with a good client base to join their team as Director of Sales.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve gallery sales targets and growth objectives.
– Supervise and lead the sales team to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.
– Foster strong relationships with collectors, art institutions, and industry professionals to expand the gallery’s network.
-Implement collaborations with other galleries. professionals in the industry, private collectors along side the founder for secondary deals or consigning works for exhibitions
– Oversee the pricing, negotiation, and sales process for artworks.
– Collaborate with the gallery manager and artists to curate exhibitions aligning with market demand and artistic vision, along with the head of exhibitions.
– Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
-Track Auctions trends and market research on artists
– Represent the gallery at art fairs, events, and public engagements to promote artworks and drive sales.
-Work closely with the founder of the gallery on the advisory team and secondary market initiatives.
– Develop and expand local and international clientele for the gallery.
