An arts communications agency is looking for a Director, who will play a key role in the running and development of the company at a pivotal time in the agency’s evolution. As part of the four-strong senior management team, this role will assume primary responsibility for the quality of work that the company is producing for our clients by overseeing the team and working with them to support and direct their work. This is a role that will draw on experience and senior level thought and skills to problem- solve, think ahead, and show leadership.
The team that the Director will oversee comprises three Account Directors, two Account Managers and two Account Executives.
In addition to managing the team and their output, the /Director will develop, guide and nurture relationships with clients, providing a senior-level voice at key moments to add innovation to their PR strategies for them, provide both ad hoc and strategic counsel and ensure the relationships remain healthy and productive.
Another responsibility will be new business, working alongside two other senior members of the team in developing and realising new business strategies and goals. This will encompass contributing to prospecting, networking, proposal writing and pitch delivery and mobilizing the team’s aptitude for this too.
Additionally, as a member of the senior management team, the Director will input into the overall company strategy, and will be accountable, consulted and informed of various aspects of that strategy. The Director will participate in quarterly ExCom meetings and will contribute to different aspects of the broader strategy such as business development, HR, EDI strategy, company marketing & PR and expansion into new services and new territories.
Throughout the year there will be travel to support their international clients and campaigns.
