Director of Acquisition, Auction House

Our client, an auction house specialised in Modern Art, Contemporary Art and rare books, is looking for a Director of Acquisition. Working closely with the Head of Department, the ideal candidate will identify and grow the client base for sourcing and selling of Modern and Post War Art. The Director of Acquisition has extensive experience in the relevant field and excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills both in German and English, additional languages are a plus. The role will suit someone who enjoys working independently and has a proactive approach. Remote or hybrid working model is available.
