Job description:

A jewellery and watch dealership specialising in antique and pre-owned items are looking for an e-commerce administrator. The role is full-time and is based in London’s West End. You will be responsible for maintaining the e-commerce platform which is a key sales channel for the business.

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Updating the Company’s platforms which include, but not limited to the company’s and other websites
  • Updating and maintaining all databases, including but not limited to, watch fairs, main dealers, archives, reserves, box papers, new arrivals, unworn list
  • Manage database and quantify all correspondences received across all platforms which include, but not limited to the company’s website
  • Edit images to company standard and ready for upload
  • Product quality control at time of photography
  • Writing product descriptions for the company’s
  • Ensuring safekeeping of products
  • Ensuring safekeeping of office and Company equipment
  • Ensuring product description consistencies
  • Reviewing social media posts across all platforms
  • Ensuring site functionality and periodically testing as and when required
  • Parcelling of orders
  • Processing sales
  • Create and upload Company blogs posts, as and when required
  • Ensuring adequate testimonials have been listed on testimonial page on the company’s website
  • Updating any additional product information, as and when received
  • Ensuring product information is consistent over all platforms
  • Matching physical stock to physical box and papers
  • Occasionally rearranging storage within the safe
  • Ensure all fields have been appropriately filled when completing purchase, deposit, sales, in & out invoices with clear and legible writing
  • If necessary, you may be required to work on the shop floor
  • Monitor and reply to live chat enquires during contracted hours
