Our client, an internationally renowned Arts Institution, has a new opportunity for an Exhibition Manager.
The Gallery’s touring programme has been established to share their exhibitions with British and international audiences, to build the Gallery’s brand and reputation, and to generate income.
Reporting to Buying and Brand Licensing Director, with a dotted reporting line to the Gallery’s Public Programmes and Partnerships Directorate, the Exhibition Manager will be responsible for identifying and securing overseas touring opportunities for a digital exhibition. The function of this role is business development. You will be required to promote and deliver the Gallery’s ambitions for an international tour of the exhibition order to further build and enhance the Gallery’s brand and reputation, and to generate valuable income.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of managing international touring exhibitions with income targets. You will have a track record of developing sales and marketing opportunities for touring exhibitions, including researching and securing partners and host venues, negotiating contracts and project managing to achieve agreed exhibition schedules and revenue targets.
