General Valuer, Auctioneer and Cataloguer

A leading regional auction house has an exciting opening for an enthusiastic Valuer, Auctioneer and Cataloguer to run the Homes and Interiors sales and assist with the day to day running of the Saleroom.

The role:

• You will be responsible for the running of the Home and Interiors sales
• Visiting clients and answering valuation requests
• Helping with collections and entries before and after sales
• Help to put sales on view and all aspects of all sales on sale days
• Willing to work some weekends as arranged
• The role will involve manual lifting

Key requirements:

• Self-motivated individual who can organise own workload and work to deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to value art and antiques, catalogue items and produce condition reports
• Auctioneer experience desirable
• Hold a clean driving license

Hours:

9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday (occasional weekends for viewing)
