We are looking for a Head of Department, Fine Art & Antiques to join an internationally renowned and market leading Auctioneers & Valuers of fine jewellery, paintings, watches, decorative art, antique and contemporary furniture, Asian art, whisky, wine & champagne, motor vehicles and collectors’ items.

They are a technology led business that delivers expert advice, professional guidance, and bespoke in-house marketing to a huge global audience – whilst streaming their monthly auctions live across 5 bidding platforms to over 10 million active bidders, ensures their clients achieve the highest possible price for their valuables. This is an extremely exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing Auction Houses in the UK:

• Reporting directly to the owners of the business
• Role suits a dynamic and highly driven individual
• You will be commercially astute with an entrepreneurial mindset
• You’ll have a free reign to develop and grow the Fine Art & Antiques Department
• Auctions currently comprise a monthly Fine Art & Antiques sale + Specialist sales across multiple specialisms – you will be actively encouraged to develop and hold additional sales to boost revenues
• A natural leader, you will lead by example and bring the best out of the Fine Art & Antiques team
• An integral appointment – this is a role for a highly accomplished Valuer (& Auctioneer)
• Currently working for an Auction House
• Must be a ‘people-person’ – superb with customers and staff alike
• The role suits a business-minded individual who has experience of building a client base
• The successful candidate will have the skills, contacts, and clients to help grow the business
• Location suits someone living in London or surrounding Home Counties
