Job description:

Our client, a prestigious international fine art and photographic archive specialising in licensing fine art, cultural and historical images, is seeking an experienced and driven Head of Marketing to join the team. This is an exciting and important role within the business with the opportunity to work with and develop an established and highly respected brand. The role will be London-based.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the implementation of a relevant and contemporary marketing communication plan across all digital channels, platforms and media, in line with the brand identity
  • Defines, tests and continuously improves effective lead generation initiatives
  • Is responsible for the visual appearance of the customer website: keeping Content relevant and refreshed for both new and recurring visitors
  • Team Leadership: support, motivation and development of team members
  • Sets priorities and gives direction to optimally use resources and market opportunities
  • Actively seeks and tests new ways of selling products and services
  • Makes sure new business initiatives are implemented and evaluated
  • Defines and evolves the Go-To-Market process to effectively respond to changing customer and market requirements
  • Key contributor for new and disruptive initiatives to stay ahead of the competition, including new technologies and approaches
  • Works in close collaboration with Sales Teams to aligned commercial priorities across the customer acquisition funnels
  • Support Distributor Network with appealing marketing offerings / templates they can implement locally

Candidate requirements:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with demonstrable success in building a consistent brand identity through communications and effectively generating new leads via numerous digital marketing channels including SEO and SEM
  • 3+ years of experience in the use of HubSpot Marketing tool (or equivalent)
  • Team / People Management Experience
  • 5+ years of International Experience: used to (and embracing) working with different nationalities; and adapting to local requirements in a global company, but also knowing when to push for alignment to core strategic goals
  • Industry experience in a visual, content-driven company is desirable, but not essential
  • Fluent in spoken and written Additional European languages would be advantageous
  • In-depth knowledge of Social Media and evolving new digital platforms and knowledge of how to leverage them effectively to generate new leads
  • Comfortable managing data and analytics where it relates to evaluating campaigns or marketing programmes
  • Comfortable partnering with internal stakeholders to develop and drive a strategic Marketing programme across multiple markets and channels
  • Effective project management capabilities to ensure marketing tasks are delivered to deadline and deliver successfully against KPI’s agreed with the senior leadership team
  • Experience briefing and managing internal or external creative copy, design and translation resources
  • Proactive and creative approach to exploring existing and potential marketing opportunities
  • An additional ‘plus’ would be experience with generating B2B or B2B2C marketing for a distributor / third-party agent or channel network as well as direct to consumer

The successful candidate will be based in London and will report to the Chief Operating Officer.
