Job description:

Our client is a leading digital business within the auction industry with representation in London , Paris,  New York,  Spain and Germany. Clients include the world’s top tier of auctioneers, antique dealers, and galleries as well as regional and local businesses. The company is looking for a Head of Sales for France. The role can be based in either Paris or London.

Role:

You will be responsible for developing and growing sales in the French speaking auction market:-

  • Selling  solutions to new and existing auction houses and art businesses
  • Conducting face to face meetings with clients, closing new business and account managing existing clients
  • Presenting the features and benefits of the companies  products face to face, by correspondence and on the phone
  • Working with the wider team to on-board new clients
  • Networking within the industry
  • Actively pursuing new leads
  • Closing new business and meeting / exceeding sales targets
  • Reporting progress and pipeline to the board

About you:

  • A number of  years sales experience – selling services
  • A good grasp understanding of digital technology and its application in the auction world
  • Experience in the auction / art world is advantageous but not essential – this role could suit someone from an IT software sales background or a media sales background
  • Self-starter – used to being self-directed and self-motivated
  • Natural deal maker
  • Native Level French language
  • Good level of English
