Managing Director, Insurance Broker

Our client, a small but established insurance broker for art insurance, is looking for a Managing Director to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Customer support (consultation, client visits, preparation of offers, insurance policies, managing claims)
• Administrative tasks
• Proactive familiarisation with all legal and insurance-related matters
• Team management
• Maintaining insurer contacts
• Expanding network of clients

Requirements:

• Expertise in art / cultural studies
• Very good knowledge of the art market
• Licensed as an insurance broker (in accordance with Section 34d paragraph 1 GewO or specialist for insurance brokerage acquired through a test at the IHK)
• Entrepneurial thinking
• Client facing
• Professional demeanor
• Very good communication skills in both German and English
• Very good computer skills (Word and Excel)
