Job description:

Seeking a Marketing Executive to join the growing team of a London based Art Tech business. Our client facilitates the highest quality digital experiences in the art world, to support the best galleries, artists, and institutions globally through an exciting new digital platform that uses proprietary technology to combine 3D exhibitions, Augmented Reality (AR) functionality, and a live events platform.

The Marketing Executive is responsible for the day to day delivery of marketing activities, including campaigns, research and analysis of data to identify and define audiences, content and collateral creation, PR support, project support, and other tasks as may be required by the team.

Responsibilities:

CONTENT AND SOCIAL (ORGANIC)

  • Creation and execution of content calendar including blog content, and scheduling social posts
  • Liaising with galleries, institutions, partners and external content providers
  • Engaging with followers and building the profile and strength of the clients associated social profiles

PAID SOCIAL & PERFORMANCE MARKETING

  • Gathering and creating assets as needed
  • Implementing paid social plans where required
  • Supporting performance marketing / external suppliers where required

EMAIL

  • Ensure email content is integrated with the wider marketing and comms plan including organic and boosted social content, PR and web
  • Create engaging customer emails driving web and exhibition visits, app downloads, brand awareness, and engagement
  • Create regular newsletter updates for the galleries (both current clients and prospects) sharing ideas on how to use and maximise the Vortic platform
  • Set up and maintenance of email automation workflows such as welcome, engagement, re-engagement, up-sell, collaborating with gallery and institutional partners as needed
  • Create branded email assets yourself where possible, liaising with external designers where necessary.

PR

  • Supporting our external PR agency with assets where needed
  • Feeding into PR ideas
  • Collating and sharing coverage internally and to relevant stakeholders

COLLATERAL CREATION

  • Creation of sales collateral alongside the wider marketing and sales teams
  • Creation of additional material eg explainers, how-tos, best practice guides
  • Support of the account management / sales team with materials and collateral as required

DATA AND CRM

  • Database management
  • Develop data capture opportunities.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of CRM system

REPORTING AND ANALYSIS:

  • Social and content effectiveness
  • Email effectiveness
  • Data capture
  • Competitor Monitoring

Person Specification:

EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge of marketing principles including content marketing
  • Creative flair and Imaginative approach to social media use
  • Understanding of brand voice
  • Good copywriting ability, with editorial and proofreading skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Office packages, with an emphasis on Excel
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, including report creation and KPI analysis
  • Experience of one or more of the following systems: CRM, Email Service Providers (such as Mailchimp), Marketing automation, Photoshop or Canva
