Job description:

Our client, an auctioneer based in West London specialising exclusively in Jewellery and Watches, is looking for a Marketing Manager. They conduct over twenty-four auctions per year (predominately on-line) from their gallery premises, as well as offering a discreet and personal private sales service. This is a new position and could be part-time depending on the successful candidate.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensuring brand compliance across all marketing and catalogue assets
  • Implementation of sale marketing – designing and executing campaigns to attract new HNW clients
  • Client Development – in conjunction with the team – putting in place campaigns and strategies to build the client base
  • Budget management
  • Social media content creation, posting and calendar management
  • Weekly email content creation
  • Google PPC campaign management and optimisation
  • Collating marketing analytics and producing reports
  • Liaison with external suppliers including printers and media owners
  • General administrative duties
  • Carry out other duties as required by the Director

Person Specification
Essential skills and experience:

  • Relevant marketing qualification
  • Experience of using Google Analytics and managing PPC campaigns
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook etc)
  • Excellent and proven copy-writing and proof-reading skills
  • Superior people management and customer service skills, and the ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, competent and can use own initiative
  • Ability to thrive within a fast-paced team environment and to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable qualifications:

  • Work experience within an auction house, gallery or business related to the arts
