Job description:

We are looking for a high energy, results-driven, team-oriented Operations Team Lead to join the Operations Team of a rapidly growing start up.

In this role, you will have the challenge of taking care of a crucial part of the logistics organisation. The role involves planning and organizing the logistics chain, managing  shipments all over the US, maintaining close relationships with the companies partners, keeping an eye out to find quick solutions to all sorts of issues and managing a team working on the selection of  new suppliers.

As a team leader you will have the responsibility to implement and scale the logistic processes in order to insure the best quality for customers. You’ll have a lot of latitude in implementing new and innovative solutions within the role. It is a fast-paced role that fits high energy and agile people who like challenges. Anticipation, proactivity and management capabilities are key elements in this role.

Candidate profile:

  • Proven experience in logistics/operations within a start up company (start up experience is a must!)
  • Good analytical (excel) and communication skills
  • Fluent in English, any other language is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and are disciplined in daily activity planning
  • Enthusiastic, ambitious, self-motivated and hands-on with a strong work ethic
  • You enjoy working in a challenging fast-paced, target-driven and team-oriented environment
  • An excellent learner and desire to adapt to new concepts and technologies
