Job description:

On behalf of our client, a digital business dealing with the most prominent art dealers in the world, we are looking for a Regional Account Manager for the US market based in New York.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining active relationships with members in New York and helping them to take full benefit from the platform. These members are top-tier galleries, you will therefore be required to demonstrate a unique blend of art world knowledge, humility, empathy, creative insight, self-motivation, and attention to detail
  • Fostering external relationships within the arts community, but also helping galleries and providing technical support for using the platform
  • Maintaining timely communication with colleagues based in France, UK and Germany. You must be self-motivated and thrive on the ability to work autonomously

Person specification:

  • The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable, articulate ambassador for the company who is equally comfortable strolling the aisles at major art fairs as digging into CRM to meticulously track outreach efforts and improve conversion rates
  • English native language
  • Excellent relational skills, existing relations with some of the most famous galleries in New York is compulsory
  • Passionate about people and art
  • Refined, diplomatic, well-educated, with a professional appearance
  • Well-organised and efficient
