Job description:

Our client, a gallery with a young, international, up-and-coming program is looking for a Sales Director. The position offers a flexible working atmosphere and the ideal candidate will be able to create active structures and take on responsibilities quickly. The position is full-time. Working hours and location can be flexible.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of strategies in cooperation with the management
  • Manage international exhibition projects and art fairs
  • Development of a digital and analogue sales strategy
  • Sales of artworks
  • Proactively networking with institutions and collectors
  • Representation of the gallery
  • ¬†Artist support
  • Press and PR activities
  • Managing the smooth running of the day-to-day business
  • Database management

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of the art market and existing network
  • Strong talent in dealing with clients and passion for selling
  • Confident and friendly manner, negotiating skills, high degree of discretion
  • Ability to innovate, possibly knowledge in the field of Web 3.0 or Digital Marketing
  • Very high level of commitment, flexibility, detail-oriented and independent way of working
  • Strong organisational skills and reliability
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Very good written and oral communication skills in German and English, other foreign languages a plus
  • IT and marketing skills
