Our client, an internationally established gallery, in Munich is looking for a Sales Director to join the growing team. As Sales Director, you make a significant contribution to the gallery’s turnover and work closely with the management on Sales. Several years of relevant work experience in the international art market as well as exceptional communication and organizational skills are essential.

Area of ​​responsibility:

  • International Sales (EU, GB, CH, USA) – knowledge of Asia & Middle East desirable
  • Acquisition of art works in existing and own networks
  • Knowledgeable of art market and ability to assess and evaluate of works of art
  • Development of sales opportunities also in the digital art market
  • Conception, planning and implementation of exhibitions and art fairs
  • Representation of the gallery


  • Well-founded, long-term sales experience and an existing international network and contacts
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the international art market
  • Several years of professional experience in the international gallery sector or auction houses
  • Fluency in German and English, other languages ​a plus
  • Very good MS Office knowledge
  • Available to travel
