A newly opened gallery in Munich, specialising in modern and contemporary art is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join their team.
Key responsibilities
Developing and implementing the sales strategy for the gallery
Actively managing the sale of artworks to private and corporate clients
Building and maintaining long-term relationship with VIP clients, collectors, and institutions
Expanding the network of contact with artists and art market partners
Analyzing the German market and sales trends, preparing performance reports
Achieving the gallery’s financial targets and monitoring sales KPIs
Collaborating with the gallery team on exhibitions and events from a sales perspective
Preparing commercial offers, sales presentations and catalogues
Skills and personal qualities:
Proven sales achievements and ability to meet financial targets
Excellent knowledge of the German art market
Strong networking and negotiation skills
Goal-oriented, communicative, independent and entrepreneurial
Exceptional ability to build relationships and execute business development strategies in the fields of art and culture
Art sales experience
Precision, discretion, knowledge of financial procedures
Strong interpersonal skills
Willingness to take on challenges
Languages: German – fluent and English B1/B2
