Job description:

An internationally renowned arts communications agency is looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Executive to be an integral part of the Digital team, working closely with the Digital Account Director to implement engaging digital services and strategies for clients.

This includes researching and developing creative digital campaigns, drafting and scheduling social media content, compiling performance reports, and assisting in the management of paid social media campaigns.

Areas of responsibility:

  • Assists with the administration and organisation of digital scopes of work
  • Supports with the research and development of innovative digital campaigns that effectively engage target audiences
  • Supports with the implementation of digital campaigns, including managing content calendars, drafting web editorial content, and drafting social media and advertising content (written and visual) across channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • Produces performance reports for social media and web with insights for clients
  • Supports in managing paid social media campaigns
  • Supports in implementing SEO strategies
  • Supports in advising on effective UX and email marketing strategies
  • Supports in implementing Google advertising strategies
  • Supports writing and designing presentations and proposals for clients
  • Updates and helps to maintain the agency’s database of digital suppliers, influencers and advocates
  • Supports the team in managing influencer engagement events, managing RSVPs, coverage and pulling together post-event reports
  • Supports the team in managing digital production projects where needed, including website development, visual design and film
  • Ensures all important client dates are in team diaries and coordinates meetings for the team
  • Maintains client folders and filing
  • Attends and participates in internal meetings
  • Attends and minutes meetings with clients
  • Researches current clients and new business as required
  • Deputises for Digital Account Director as required

Office Responsibilities:

  • Regularly reads and rounds up digital news including latest social media developments and alerts wider digital team in a timely manner
  • Carries out tasks as required by senior colleagues
  • Ensures company-wide systems such as database are up to date with digital contacts by making amends or sending them to relevant person



  • Relevant experience within the arts and culture sector and/or in the field of digital communications
  • Excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills with impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong storytelling ability, visual and written, with demonstrable knowledge of integrated digital communication campaigns
  • Demonstrable experience strategically managing, writing and publishing engaging content for social media and web, both visual and written (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter)
  • Paid advertising experience, with familiarity across Facebook, Instagram and Google
  • Experience using social media insights tools and Google Analytics
  • Basic video editing & design skills (Photoshop, Premiere)


  • Social media experience on channels such as YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn
  • Experience collaborating with influencers
