We are seeking a Senior Social Media Executive to join a contemporary art gallery in Mayfair.  An art advisory service operates alongside the gallery business, providing an unrivalled opportunity for clients to invest in emerging, established and blue chip artists.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Social Media Executive to join this fast paced, entrepreneurial business. This role requires a dynamic, highly organised and creative digital marketeer with a passion for luxury and the ability to translate and execute the strategic vision of the gallery senior team.

This position would suit a driven and highly adaptable individual with the enthusiasm and energy to manage and personally achieve significant output and a determined dedication towards continuous brand growth.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Social Media:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the brand and marketing objectives.
  • Create engaging and compelling content for various social media platforms, including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and ensuring all content and creative are on brand and in the gallery’s tone of voice.
  • Understand the nuances of each social media platform and be able to tailor content appropriately for each channel where need be.
  • Ability to create high quality ad hoc content for our social media channels whilst at events.
  • Adapt and optimise content to suit the unique requirements and formats of each social media platform.
  • Collaborate with the gallery team to ensure consistency across all marketing channels and campaigns.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of their social media accounts, including scheduling posts, monitoring comments, and responding to enquiries.
  • Grow their online community by actively engaging with followers, fostering conversations, and building relationships with art enthusiasts, art investors and potential clients.
  • Effectively handle any social media crises or negative feedback, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
  • Present monthly analysis and recommendations to the Senior Management. Be seen as an authority on social media and digital trends with the ability to recommend and embark on new initiatives and strategies within the world of social media.

E-Shots

  • Manage the HubSpot account and platform, developing new forms, workflows and analysis and ensuring that the platform is utilised to its maximum potential.
  • Work alongside the Digital Manager in the curation of an eShot strategy for the gallery. Assisting on analysis and recommendations on A/B testing to the Senior Management team, reviewing conversions, click maps and engagement to ensure that e-shots continue to improve.
  • Take ownership of the implementation of the weekly eShot activity, implementing the eShot strategy created, assisting with reporting and offering additional insights and amendments where needed to further aid the gallery’s database engagement levels and numbers.
  • Have an understanding of engagement and lead gen. Whether this be through the use of personalisation and segmentation or through utilising implementing various types of pop-ups on their website.
  • Keep a close eye on industry reporting, trends and competitor e-shot activity, taking inspiration where useful.

Other:

  • Manage the marketing element of gallery referral programs to ensure that partners are continually updated with relevant gallery activity.
  • Create a content calendar for each of our partnerships, understanding their channels and our activity to push to their clients.

Candidate Profile:

  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for contemporary art and the story of the artists that create it. Marketing experience within the contemporary art world is advantageous.
  • Being able to work in a fast-paced environment, having worked on a number of accounts/brands or those with a start-up background would be preferred.
  • Have their finger on the pulse when it comes to social media and digital trends.
  • Understand the importance of an omni-channel approach, offering suggestions to other channel owners where needed to further grow the gallery / business as a whole.
  • Highly refined and proven organisational skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic positive attitude and a team player.
  • Able to work out of hours to post and respond to matters if required.
  • Prior experience across all social channels with a track record of having grown a following and engagement rates.
  • Able to create a defined social strategy.
  • Creative, and strategic, with a digital first mindset.
