Job description:

Storage Account Manager required for a shipping company who deal with Fine & Modern Artworks, Antiques, Contemporary Furniture, Interior Designers and Private Collectors.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a good relationship between clients and the company taking instructions over the telephone and by email in respect of collections, deliveries and releases
  • Making sure that jobs are carried out in a prompt and timely manner
  • Keeping clients fully informed and advised on the progress and costs of their shipments,
  • Provide Stock Checks
  • Resolve any client queries
  • Assist, instruct and manage the more junior members of the department
  • Liaise closely with other departments
  • Ensure paperwork is completed accurately
  • Carry out Site visits to assess any casing or packing requirements from single items to whole house moves destined for the UK and Worldwide, preparing and presenting quotations based on your findings.
  • Assist with the end of month accounts for all storage clients, assessing usage, preparing invoices, statements and chasing any outstanding monies

Person Specification:

  • Knowledge of Bond & TA procedures would be advantageous
  • Able to use Excel, Word & Outlook to a high standard,
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good communications skills
  • Competence in both English & Mathematics
  • Previous experience in a similar role
