Job description:

Our client, a young and ambitious online platform for art in Paris, is looking for a Team Leader Sales for the US Market. The Team Leader will manage a squad of 4 to 10 people and drive sales volumes of new and existing art collector clients from English speaking markets. You will be working closely with the Head of Operations as well as other region’s team leads to identify and implement levers for growth, scale and excellence. The right candidate must be willing to be full-time based in Paris. French is not essential for this role!

Primary duties include:

  • Overachieve sales targets by improving sales conversion, repeat purchase rate and customer satisfaction
  • Build an exclusive and personal relationship with art collectors
  • Deliver world class customer experience standards for both art advisory and post purchase procedure
  • Implement processes, tools and functionalities that enhance the experience of customers
  • Track your team’s success and define priorities using KPIs and customer satisfaction metrics
  • Grow a successful team and reach high objectives such as +300% yearly growth
  • Experience working in an environment of a high-potential start-up

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in sales, preferable B2C with a proven track record of results
  • You know from experience what it takes to conquer the US market as a start-up company
  • Ability to drive your team’s performance with KPIs combined with a natural ability to diffuse your sales spirit
  • Previous experience in supervising a team or managing a team (at least 2 people)
  • Business fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
  • Insights into Customer Service for Luxury Goods, Art or Design is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & sales acumen
  • You are a role model in how to manage customer relations
  • First hand experience in management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with Sales KPI definition and monitoring
  • Interest for the art market
