Temporary Event Staff, Fine Art Gallery

Our client is seeking temporary gallery bar and door staff to work during events held at their new gallery in central London. Main duties of bar staff will include but are not limited to:

• Serving drinks
• Loading/unloading the dishwasher
• Washing and drying by hand if needed
• Collecting glasses and ensuring the space is kept clean and tidy without any slip hazards

Main duties of door staff will include but are not limited to:

• Checking names off a list as people arrive at the gallery and directly them to the cloak room area
• Keeping a tally of visitor numbers using the counter provided
• Ensuring only people on the guest list are permitted entry to the gallery for the event

• Exhibition open to the public, Tuesday – Saturday, 11am – 5pm
• Private view on Thursday 1st June
• Location in central London
• Dress code: smart
• Health & safety: staff will likely need to walk up and down flights of stairs and possibly carry/move chairs and tables (in a lift) so should feel comfortable doing this
• Training will be provided on the day
