Job description:

Seeking a Manager/Executive Assistant to join a growing team within a Valuation Company who offer insurance, probate and divorce valuations of Fine Art, Antiques, Jewellery, Works of Art, Watches, Wine, Classic cars and more.

This is a senior role that comes with a variety of responsibilities to include dealing with clients / valuation proposals / overseeing the marketing for the company / typing / monthly accounts / organising / attending events / networking to raise awareness and grow the business as well as anything else needed. This is an exciting, all round and demanding role with something different every day, working within a small administration team based in Oxted, Surrey however it will include travel to London as and when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with valuations enquiries, ensuring accurate and efficient processing
  • Organising valuation visits and dealing directly with clients
  • Confirming appointments, invoicing and debt collection
  • Track/manage the progress from beginning to end, ensuring deadlines are met and paperwork is proofread and of a high standard
  • Scheduling weekly articles from the team of specialists and working with our marketing company, while sending out weekly mailouts via Mail Chimp and looking for interesting stories within the market to post on social media
  • Working with the team to plan / organise events
  • Maintaining the CRM database system
  • Networking and establishing/maintaining B2B relationships

Key Skills:

  • Previous relevant experience valuing a range of items
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Word and Excel and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks (not essential)
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a small team / on your own while managing others in the field
  • Ability to use your own initiative / grow your own role
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Flexibility is essential, working out of hours maybe needed to meet deadlines and the ability to be a team player is key
