Job description:

Our client is seeking a Website and Social Media Administrator to join it’s growing team. Our client is a retailer and auction house in Mayfair, established in 2016, specialising in numismatics. They work with clients from both the UK and overseas. Live, in-person auctions take place throughout the year, as well as retail sales.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Management of website, making sure it remains user friendly as it is updated with new content- – Will involve data input including product classification / pricing / size and dimensions. Accuracy is critical.

Troubleshooting for any customers who are having issues with their account.

Work with the Directors to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies. Build, develop and optimise content across platforms.

Plan and execute a content strategy for our social media platforms that drives high engagement. Repurpose long form content into short form for social media posts ensuring quality, clarity, and consistency of message.

Producing social media posts for Instagram and Twitter

Prepare and design content using key software such as Photoshop and video editing tools.

Assist with digital marketing, including creation and delivery of paid social and email campaigns.

Undertake general and administrative tasks as required to ensure the smooth running of the business.


Qualifications and Experience

Experience in using Content Management Systems (WordPress) advantageous

Familiarity with Google Analytics a plus

A strong eye for visuals, with experience of photo and video editing software.

Understanding of content marketing tactics, such as SEO, digital advertising, and social media marketing.

Confidence in learning new skills and technology.

Great organisational and project management skills.

An exceptional attention to detail with strong spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills.

A collaborative and creative approach, with a desire to innovate and to deliver excellence.

An appreciation of numismatics is welcome but not essential.

Ideally candidates should have experience in similar industries.
