The art of the perfect fit

About

Our story

In 2011, our founders Julia and Nina each ran their own arts recruitment business. But when a client mistakenly invited them both to the same meeting, instead of sizing each other up they became best of friends! Five years later they combined their business to form DRAW – and the rest is history.

Our small, but perfectly formed, team of seven has decades of experience from inside both the art and recruitment worlds. We listen to our clients’ needs carefully and take pride in our quietly focused, fuss-free approach to finding you the very best people for the job – every time.

Meet the team

Julia Henderson

Julia Henderson

Director (Associate CIPD)

Julia started DRAW Recruitment with Nina Langford in 2016. Having spent 20 years in senior positions within large Recruitment and Staffing Businesses, including as the CEO of Recruitment Solutions Group. Julia decided to leave the corporate world behind to start her own business. She launched her first Fine Art Recruitment Business more than a decade ago and has not looked back since. Julia was quickly able to build up a loyal client base amongst Auction Houses and Dealerships and now has an expansive network all over the world.

Julia has worked with many leading regional and international auction houses and dealerships to help secure the right talent to grow their teams. Julia really enjoys dealing with small and mid-sized businesses and uses her past commercial experience to help clients find people with the correct skills, experience, and personality to genuinely make a difference.

Julia has a BA (Hons) Commerce and is an Associate member of the CIPD.

When not at work Julia is most at home in the great outdoors. You can often find her out walking regardless of the weather!
