The art of the perfect fit

Recruiting Temporary Workers

Posted by alex in Case Studies · December 2020

The option to hire a Temporary Worker, Contractor, or Freelancer provides many advantages to businesses, as well as candidates.

START Art Fair 2020, was a little different this year. It went ahead successfully with strict social distancing protocols and was by all accounts a success. Unfortunately, many of the exhibitors were left unable to travel due to COVID-19 travel and quarantine restrictions. Five of the exhibitors contacted DRAW to help staff their exhibits for the fair. With just a few weeks to go DRAW was able to provide fully vetted and experienced stand assistants to manage the event , with a direct line back to the stand holder.

DRAW made sure that the stand assistants were engaged on contracts up to date with all current legislation. We payrolled the staff, took care of statutory deductions, and made all the standard compliance checks such as Right to Work, ID checks, and references* leaving the client to debrief the staff on their sales portfolios. In this uncertain time DRAW was able to make the hiring of temporary workers a reality for the exhibitors.

If you are thinking of recruiting Temporary Staff, even on short notice, call us to do the hard work for you.

*DRAW Temporary Workers are also covered by our professional indemnity insurance.
