Job description:
An established commercial gallery in London is looking for a Sales Assistant with shipping experience to join their busy team.
Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare supporting material for the management of commercial action on clients – dossiers presenting the artist and their works.
- Uploading and updating the internal information system with info on the works.
- Sending catalogues to collectors. Manage operational aspects of fairs – application, compilation lists of works and sending previews.
- Operational and PA support for the Sales Director, in planning trips and transfers connected with the work and management of relations with artists and collectors
- Support for the operations of exhibitions opening events.
- Management of relations with the artist’s studio for the administrative aspects of after-sales; support for the artist in the production of works; ability to construct effective relations with the studio managers of the artists.
- Shipping: assist post sales experience for the collector. Communicate with collector and registrar to supply shipping options and ensure an efficient delivery and experience.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in Sales Assistance and Shipping Management.
- Strong Excel and Power Point skills, plus confidence with using Microsoft Office and logistics software.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams in the UK and around the world.
- Excellent attention to detail.
