An established artist is seeking a highly organised and proactive Studio Administrator to support the day-to-day administration and management of their Shoreditch studio.
This is a varied, hands-on role with a strong focus on administration, organisation and coordination. Working directly with the Artist you will help manage the business and administrative affairs of the studio, alongside commercial activity, philanthropic projects, public artworks and the artist’s extensive archive and legacy.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing confidential information and keeping track of multiple projects, deadlines, payments, databases, correspondence and external relationships. You will often be the central point of coordination between the artist, clients, collectors, galleries, cultural institutions, suppliers, contractors, lawyers and other professional advisers.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and working closely with an artist, and who can bring structure, organisation and attention to detail to a busy studio environment.
We are looking for someone with previous experience working within an artist’s studio, gallery, cultural organisation or similarly complex creative environment.
Full time Mon-Fri: 9-5 / 10-6 with some flexibility.
