Job description:

We are looking for a Studio Facility Manager who will be responsible for the smooth, safe and efficient day-to-day operation of
the studio for an Art Advisory in West London.

The role focuses on the studio environment, facilities, health and safety, compliance and operational administration, ensuring that the studio is a safe, well-maintained and welcoming place for the team, clients, artists and visitors.

The Studio Facility Manager will coordinate external contractors and service providers, maintain key compliance records, manage studio supplies and oversee the practical requirements of running the studio.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, practical and proactive, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a broad range of operational responsibilities independently.

The role is on site 3 days per week, 20-25 hours per week, with some flexibility required.

Person Specification:

  • Experience in studio, office, facilities or operations management. Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple suppliers, contractors and service providers.
  • Confident communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with external providers.
  • Ability to identify issues proactively and follow them through to resolution. Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Comfortable maintaining records, schedules and compliance documentation.
  • Experience working within a creative, design, architecture, art or similar studio environment.
  • Experience coordinating fire safety and building compliance requirements.
  • Health & Safety or facilities-related training.
  • Experience managing contractors and maintenance providers.
  • Experience managing operational budgets and supplier contracts.
