We are seeking an experienced Jewellery Specialist to join a market leading auction house based in Singapore. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded specialist looking to develop their career in a major Asian luxury market while enjoying an exceptional quality of life.

The role is highly client facing and would suit a confident communicator with strong expertise in jewellery valuation, appraisal, cataloguing, and business development, particularly within branded and signed jewellery.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct jewellery valuations and appraisals for auction and private clients
Prepare accurate and commercially focused catalogue descriptions
Manage client relationships and develop new business opportunities
Source consignments and advise clients on market trends and pricing
Handle authentication and assessment of diamonds, coloured stones, and fine jewellery
Work closely with international specialist departments and regional clients
Support auction previews, events, and client meetings
Maintain high professional standards across cataloguing, condition reporting, and administration

Candidate Profile

Previous experience within an auction house, jewellery department, specialist retailer, or valuation environment
Strong knowledge of branded and signed jewellery is essential
UK FGA/DGA qualifications or equivalent preferred
Degree educated
Excellent client facing and interpersonal skills
Strong valuation and appraisal capability
Confident cataloguer with strong written English
IT literate and comfortable using specialist systems and databases
Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development
Organised, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
