On behalf of a fast-growing auction business and work with exceptional jewellery, watches and silver! We are looking for a talented, commercially minded Jewellery Valuer to join the already successful Jewellery, Watches & Silver team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with exceptional pieces, build strong client relationships and play a key role in the continued growth of one of the UK’s most ambitious auction businesses. The business has locations in London and slightly outside of London ( 30 mins) and this role will require travel between both sites each week.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Jewellery, Watches & Silver, you will:
• Value jewellery, watches and silver for auction, probate and insurance.
• Meet, advise and negotiate with clients, securing high-quality auction consignments.
• Build lasting relationships and deliver exceptional client service.
• Attend offsite valuations and house visits when required.
• Work closely with our expert team of valuers and cataloguers.
• Help drive the commercial success of our London and Berkshire operations.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
• Strong specialist knowledge of jewellery, watches and/or silver.
• FGA, DGA, GIA qualifications or 5+ years’ relevant industry experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and client service skills.
• A commercial mindset and the confidence to secure consignments.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
Auction experience is desirable but not essential.
