A long-established and internationally respected specialist dealer in antique maps, prints and cartography is seeking a full-time Sales Associate to join its friendly London gallery team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in history, antique maps and printed material who is looking to develop a career within a niche area of the art and antiques market. The role combines gallery sales, client service and collection management, supporting both in-person and online customers while assisting with packing, shipping, digitisation, image management and exhibition preparation. There is also scope to contribute to social media content.
The successful candidate will have experience in a high-end customer-facing environment, excellent communication and organisational skills, and strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Artlogic, handling works on paper and social media content creation would be advantageous.
This is a permanent, full-time, gallery-based position in Central London, with occasional Saturday working on a rota basis and a weekday provided in lieu.
