A leading fine art logistics and services company is seeking an experienced Lead Fine Art Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled technician to take a leading role in delivering exceptional art handling, installation, and transport services for high-value works.

The Role

As Lead Fine Art Technician, you will act as a key point of contact for clients, project managers, and coordinators, ensuring the highest standards are upheld across all projects. You will lead by example on-site, overseeing installations, transportation, and art handling operations both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a primary client contact across projects
• Lead and support installation and deinstallation projects
• Safely handle, pack, load, and transport artworks
• Oversee transport logistics and ensure best practices are followed
• Maintain accurate condition reports, movement records, and documentation
• Ensure all work is completed to museum-grade standards

About You

• Significant experience in fine art shipping, handling, or installation
• Strong knowledge of packing, crating, and installation techniques
• Confident leading teams and communicating with clients
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressure

Desirable Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence
• HGV Class 1 or 2 Licence
