Contract: Permanent, Part-Time (3 days per week) or could be 5 shorter days – open to discussion.

A highly regarded business within the art and luxury sector is seeking a proactive and organised Client & Sales Administrator to provide essential support to its sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in the art world or luxury market who enjoys working in a client-focused environment and has exceptional organisational skills.

Working closely with the Client Manager and senior leadership team, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting client relationships, coordinating events, managing client databases and helping to identify new sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Client Manager and senior management team.
  • Manage client correspondence and assist with responding to enquiries.
  • Research, input and maintain accurate client information and records.
  • Create and manage mailing lists for exhibitions, art fairs and client events.
  • Monitor client activity and identify potential sales opportunities for follow-up by the sales team.
  • Assist with the organisation and administration of exhibitions, events and art fairs.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A number of years experience within the art market or luxury goods sector, ideally gained in an auction house, gallery or similar environment.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy under pressure.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and Mailchimp; experience with ArtLogic and FileMaker would be advantageous.
  • A professional, proactive approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
