Our client, a well-established and highly regarded regional auction house, is seeking an experienced Jewellery Cataloguer to join its specialist Jewellery Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable jewellery professional with at least three years’ experience in jewellery cataloguing, research and condition reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, cataloguing and assessing a wide range of antique, vintage and contemporary jewellery, while supporting the preparation and delivery of specialist auctions.
The role includes precious metal and gemstone testing, producing detailed condition reports, coordinating photography, assisting with valuations and catalogue production, responding to client enquiries, and supporting the day-to-day organisation of the department.
Applicants should have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational and communication skills, and a genuine passion for jewellery. Gemmological qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
