The role of the India Recruitment Manager will principally be responsible for recruiting the Cultural Partners to a cultural platform across India. This includes coordinating sales and recruitment processes, strategising outward-facing marketing strategies to optimise visitor take-up, download and usage, and offering ongoing support to ensure successful adoption and sustained engagement with the platform. At the outset, the role will focus strongly on recruitment and outreach. Responsibilities include identifying and prospecting potential partner institutions, building and maintaining target lists, conducting local market research, and proactively engaging with prospective museums, heritage sites, and cultural organisations across India. The role will also organise and participate in online and in-person events, attend relevant industry conferences, trade shows, and fairs, coordinate meetings with clients and partners, and prepare proposals, reports, and marketing materials. The role will operate primarily within the Indian time zone while collaborating with colleagues across various APAC and European times.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Proactively identify and recruit potential clients and cultural partners across all India, though focussed initially on Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata and Bangalore.
o Build and maintain well-researched target lists of potential cultural partners.
o Develop and maintain effective relationships with museums, local government authorities and other key stakeholders.
o Guide cultural partners on best practice marketing.
o Collaborate with the wider team on events, campaigns and promotional activity.
o Develop opportunities for referrals and advocacy across the partner network.
o Identify success stories and case studies that demonstrate impact.
o Work closely with India Partnerships Manager to deliver a seamless client experience for all cultural partners

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL
• 5+ years’ experience in sales and business development
• Experience working with museums, galleries, visitor attractions or cultural organisations
• Ability to engage, influence stakeholders across museums, government and cultural sector
• Experience in identifying new business opportunities
• Fluent English and Hindi (fluency in additional Indian languages is a plus)
DESIRABLE
• Good communication skills
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
• Event or marketing support experience.
LOCATION, REPORTING
The role is based in India, some travel within India and broader APAC is anticipated, with possible additional requirement to visits the London office, or further afield.
