Our client, a highly respected specialist business operating within the international fine art and auction market, is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join its London team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to work in a unique and varied environment, managing the financial processes surrounding auctions and post-sale transactions. Responsibilities include buyer invoicing, consignor settlements, general bookkeeping, VAT administration, Artist’s Resale Right (ARR), and ensuring compliance with AML and KYC regulations.
Applicants should be ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with relevant finance experience. Previous experience within an auction house, commercial art gallery, luxury goods business or a similar specialist environment would be highly advantageous. Strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion are essential.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Central London, offering a negotiable salary depending on experience, together with the opportunity to join a respected organisation in the international art market.
